Chapter 40 teaser

Everyone in the room was sitting and talking when I heard the front door open. I looked up from where I was sitting next to my mom, who was holding EJ on her lap, to watch for Emmett.

What I saw floored me.

Breezing into the room, a big smile on her face, was Bella. There was a beat of silence before greetings were called from every corner of the room.

I won!
