Chapter 44, teaser

I don't usually do this, but this chapter's teaser is going to simply be the title:

Chapter 44 -- The Smelly Brown Stuff Meets the Whirling Blades

And here's the picture I promised you on the Twilighted thread:

Outtakes, smuttakes, bits and pieces, ramblings, review replies and a teaser for Chapter 43!

Hi!

So, I created a new story on ffnet today.  It's not really a new story, it's a collection of stuff related to The Harder they Fall.  It's called The Bigger they Are.  Right now it contains five chapters.  Chapters 1 & 2 of The Bigger they Are are copies of Chapters 20 & 24 from The Harder they Fall.  These chapters are outtake chapters and have nothing to do with the original story.

Chapter 3 of The Bigger they Are is the wrong turn I took when I wrote chapter 27 of The Harder they Fall.  It is not official or "canon."

Chapters 4 & 5, however, are canon.  They are bits of the story I sent out as review replies.  If you read chapters 20 & 24 and reviewed chapters 27, 29 and 34, then you've already read everything I posted in The Bigger they Are to date.

However, there's a reason I posted The Bigger they Are right now.  When I publish chapter 43 of The Harder they Fall on Sunday there will be an outtake.  The outtake will be published as chapter 6 of The Bigger they Are.  I hope you enjoy both the chapter and the outtake.

So, let's see.  You've read all this, how about a little THTF teaser for you?

THTF chapter 43 teaser:

“Mr. Cullen’s office, Angela speaking.”

“Angela, it’s Kathleen Snow. Where’s Edward? He’s not answering his office phone and his cell is going right to voicemail.”

“Edward is at a lunch meeting, Dr. Snow.”

“With who? He didn’t mention a lunch meeting to me last night.”

I froze. “With who?” she wanted to know. I didn’t know if Dr. Snow knew Bella was back in the office, but I certainly wasn’t going to mention it unless she did first. “Uh, it wasn’t previously scheduled. He left on very short notice.”
